RIP Leslie Nielsen Leslie Nielsen, the actor who began his Hollywood career doing serious movies but was best known for his performances in comedies such as Airplane and The Naked Gun series, has died.

Awww...nooo! I can watch him over and over in his roles on Naked Gun and Airplane and crack up. He played some good roles on Streets of San Francisco too. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I once had the pleasure of briefly meeting Leslie whilst I was on vacation in Vegas. We started chatting in the street as I was a foreigner looking for directions. I didn't recognise him at first as he was wearing enormous sunglasses and was with his wife. He was totally charming!
Gonna watch my Police Squad dvd later and remember him at his finest. R.I.P. Mr Nielsen x | |

WOW.......RIP.
While I enjoyed him in the various comedies he stared in, he was in one of my favorite all time movies "The Forbidden Planet" before his comedy career took off.
He will be missed! "Always blessings, never losses......"
