They are brilliant. But there were only six?!?! Funny how time plays tricks on your mind. They made such a big impression on me as a kid, I would have thought that show ran a full season.

Yes sad but true only 6 episodes. It was an ABC mid-season replacement which aired in March of 1982.

I was shocked it ran so short too, but it did. I loved the opening credits, with the dude on fire, and how they'd announce a the special guest star that never appears in the episode. I can't forget the crazy endings with the credit rolling and movement by the actors instead of a still frame.

All the Naked Guns are a CLASSIC! A lot of the sexual references as a kid I didnt get, but the more that I watch, as an adult, I finally get it (lol). I've never seen Police Squad or Airplane, so I gotta buy them, comedic classics.

Has anyone ever seen him in this movie from 1958, can't think of the name, but it was a star trek type movie?

i know, right? Leslie Nielsen was THE MASTER of dead-pan.

Have been re-watching all his movies since his passing, currently in the middle of the "Naked Gun" series. Hate that it takes someones' passing to remind me of how much they meant in my world. May Mr. Nielsen be resting peacefully - Thanks for the laughs!
