For those 5 minutes of the show I absolutely loved Nene! Then it wore off . We have all these kids running around today thinking they're so entitled and for what? Well when you really think about it, it's quite easy for Pastor's these days to get their hands on unauthorized church funds outside their salary as Pastor. Most of the church folks think that their pastor is "God" himself anyway, so when the offering and tithe money go straight to the Pastor Study instead of to the trustees office for counting and filling out tax forms, then people don't question it. Especially when Pastor's have already recruited their "favorites" who are basically brainwashed into thinking that the Pastor can do no wrong and is actually some kind of prophet. These people are usually the ones quick and ready to curse out those members who know good and well that their Pastor is up to no good and aren't fooled. And I mean some of those brainwashed, Pastor-following church members will even go as far as fighting in the church over their Pastor and I don't put it past them to even go as far as committing murder.

Everytime I turn around people claimed that they have "been called to preach" by God...next they are getting a divinity degree through some online made up Bible college and next thing you know they starting their own church either in a store front, or worshipping in a school. Next their goal is to be just like the almighty T.D. Jakes. The thing that makes me sick is that you got these Pastors and Bishops driving around in six-figure cars with paid cheuffeurs while they sit up there Sunday after Sunday preaching on how you must pay your tithes or you won't get blessed. Meanwhile people who can't even keep their lights on in their home are writing out checks to the church like water. I swear, being a Pastor is the new hustle these days...you starting to see more crooked Pastors than drug dealers in this day and time. There are still some good and sincere Pastor's out here, but sadly there aren't many. Sorry for the long spill, but just sayin'.....

This is just craziness that people are so lax with the money! In my church there are a select number of people who collect tithes, but only one person counts it. Then there is the office administrator who is on the Church Council, and the treasurer (who is is on the board of trustees) who can touch/deposit the money. No expenses can be approved outside of the 7 member council and reimbursement can only happen through the treasury via written application. There is a direct chain of respsonsibilty for every penny which is spent, and we review banks statements vs.outgoing expenses in member meetings. As a church body we vote to approve the salaries of the people on our payroll, including that of our pastors (and they make a great living), but they don't get a penny more. They don't even have direct access to the church bank account and can't make any financial move without the signature from the treasury. But then that's Germans for you; they are bureaucratic to the hilt, sometimes too much. you need a million signatures and stamps on documents just to be able to fart in a bank here . Somebody needs to punch Eddie Long in his face. That's pretty much all I got

Here's the thing tho: These charletans don't have to steal directly from the church's coffers but they get to bank a lot (if not all) of the fees and other revenues they generate from books, conferences, appearances, etc. So they are double-dipping among their own flock. They also tend to use church resources for their own benefit.

For instance, TD Jakes created a publishing and media production facility on the premises of the Potters House. He uses these resources to generate his books and tapes and all that money belongs to him alone. And guess who is his primary target audience? Another thing, he keeps all of the money generated at all those wacky women's conferences he does. They be having 30-40,000 people at them things, buying everything they can get their hands on. Plus, the folks that work it are volunteers who pay their own travel and lodging expenses.

So that math = money, on top o' money, wrapped in paper, filled with cheddar.

Just watched the first episode from Beverly Hills: they're so 1980's I LOVE it. All that ostentatious wealth between Van Der Pump and Malouf, it's like stepping back into Dallas, Dynasty, AND Falcon Crest, and it's going to be the two siters who end up trying to kill each other in the pool like Alexis and Crystal Carrington . For me, Kyle is the prettiest housewife, primarily because she appears to have had the least plastic surgery....and what is up with all of this bad plastic surgery running rampant out there in Califirnia? Everybody's running round looking like they walked in the doctor's office with a picture of The Joker and told him, "make me look like this"
