A while back I posted about org-rage. There is something about the intense stimulation of being in a car surrounded by so many people and imminent danger, as well as the protection that not being face to face brings that seems to make us react more strongly to people than we might face to face.

The internet is the same. It is an intense mixture of personalities & emotions, with no risk of an actual fistfight, and it can cause some spicy interactions.

I've been prone to both org rage and road rage. In my normal life I don't have so many people around me. When I feel the rage I know I need some space, peace, & quiet.
