I usually ignore her comments that irritate me on a regular basis, cuz I was giving her the benefit of the doubt. Like maybe, she makes all these rude comments cuz she cares and it's 'tough love', but then I realized that naw, she's just being a bitch.

I agree with most of what you said here. If your looking for clarity into why it was taken so far w/ Ms. Genesia I think it has something to do with the fact that she is regularly shitting on other's threads or comments.

I personally think that people are getting tired of the shit around here and aren't going to take the BS anymore. There is just no reason to be so hatefull all the damn time. No reason at all.

Being the author of this thread, It amazes how people view what's important and what's not important. There are those here that believe who Alicia or Beyonce is sleeping with, is actually more important than what I posted yesterday. I also disagree with your statement John about, "if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all". I think if that rule applies in a face to face meeting, then it certainly applies here. Lastly, words and how you land an airplane have something in common....It is all in the approach. Oh, okay I see what you're saying.

I guess the reason some ppl got combative in this thread, is because all this poor dude was trying to do is let ppl know there may or may not be a tornado coming and to be careful cuz theres a warning. Which was really nice of him, and she responded with a snappy remark.

Now, normally, if I see a thread title that has to do with something I could care less about I simply don't open it. Like if the thread title was "The hole in the ozone layer is growing bigger than the gapping hole in Dans ass" I'd say to myself, big fucking deal, who cares about the ozone layer?? And never open it. Not go on there and start throwin a fit about what a lame ass thread it is. ( I only opened this thread because I happen to have an infatuation with weather. and boy I'm glad I did. Cause I hit the jackpot with some drama for my viewing pleasure.

Anyways, back to Genesia. When she gets all self righteous in my threads, no one says anything, cause I think a lot of ppl agree with her. They and she don't agree with, or are disappointed in some of the choices I've made in my life, and I know she for one gets sick of hearing me go on about it. Okay great, once again, if you REALLY ARE sick of reading it, then DON'T.

It's never gonna be balanced. I can tell you that right now. If everyone started being nicey nice, you'd get threads popping up about "Why has the org gone soft" or how boring or how vanilla or how this or that. There is ZERO possibility of EVERYONE getting along with each other if you spend any amount of time here (or on any forum). I'd bet it's safe to assume that you don't like every person you meet in the "real world", either.

It is VERY easy to ignore posts by people you don't enjoy conversing with. You simply choose not to respond. It doesn't matter what they've said or how they say it; just don't respond. I do it almost every time I visit the org.

Don't take this stuff personally. Even when/if you're arguing vehemently. Something I also do quite often while STILL having a perfectly civil conversation with the same person in another thread. I enjoy a heated conversation. But when it's done, it's done. No need to remember everything every person has ever said that you didn't agree with one hundred percent. Your life is going to be pretty tense and unhappy if you do.

Just because somebody is disagreeing with you, even if they are FORCEFULLY disagreeing with you, it doesn't mean that they don't still like you. Everyone is different, ya know? Some people just communicate in different ways. If we were all the same the world would be an EXTREME bore!
