This is a photo of a cove in Taiji, Japan where every year 23,000 dolphins are driven in and slaughtered after spending a night in nets, having their family groups ripped apart as certain dolphins are sold in the mornings to sea life parks to act as attractions for the public before the rest are driven into this secret cove. The colour of the water is due to the amount of blood from the slaughtering.
