True Blood

Picking up right where last season left off, Alan Ball's wild ride puts the pedal to the metal: Bill (Stephen Moyer) kidnapped, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) making his entrance naked (I know — you're not gonna bother reading the rest of this), Tara (Rutina Wesley) in dangerous grief over the death of Eggs, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) bedding two girls while secretly trying to become a ''better man,'' teen vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) trying and failing to control her adolescent hormones, and dear, sweet Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) recommending ''tequila and Klonopin'' as a surefire way of getting through hard times. Plus, the return of Evan Rachel Wood's Queen and an increased role for Eric's curvy underling Pam (Kristin Bauer). I don't have HBO, so I'm going to miss it. I just bought the Sookie Stackhouse novels, so that will keep my imagination busy. Wish there was someway to watch it online.

I had to wipe the sweat off my brow after that Bill n Sam Motel Scene.

"I'm sorry you fell in love with a serial killer, but honestly, who here hasn't?"

That line, plus "pussy overflow," made me laugh out loud.

Also very, very nice: The rear views of Eric and Jason.

And really, really extra nice: That scene between Sam and Bill. Lord have mercy. That had me, um, hot and bothered.

All in all, a nice start to the new season!

i just finished an advance copy of the new Dexter book...Dexter is delicious

now i cant wait for season 4 dvd release...(yeah, i know, im waaayy behind

1) What was up with Sam dreaming about Bill coming on to him...and Sam liking it???? I was like

2) I guess last season we got to see Lafayette's vulnerable side, this season starts with us seeing Tara's vulnerable side. But was she seriously trying to kill herself in the bathroom?

3) Looks like the old Lafayette (the shit talker) is back in full force...except when vampires are around...nevertheless, I love me some Lafayette!!!!

4) I hope I'm not the only one that thinks its cute that Jessica is still learning some of her powers as a vampire.

5) How sexy was it finally seeing Eric in a state of panic???? Love it!

6) Tara's mom is still sickening... She should be the one to be killed off...she's annoying as hell.

7) Can't wait to see what these werewolves are about.
