Damnit, I'm going to need to go buy one of these for myself.

I bought one for my nephews and it is by far the favorite entertainment system that we all share together.

I saw them play Super Mario Galaxy (the first one) and got a bit confused. It's a very strange game! lol All the familiar elements where there, but gravity behaves very differently in this one.

Can't wait to see what Galaxy 2 is like.

maaaan. this game is gonna give me a whole new type o' carpal tunnel sydrome... all the shakin' and you have to use BOTH the Wii-mote and the nunchuk to get around...

that being said...

I haven't had this much fun with a console game in at least a good decade... best $50 I've spent in a good long while...

thumbs up!

My kids (with a little help from my husband) completed the first one a few weeks back. We're getting this one today!! They're all very excited.

It's completely wondrous. One of the best games I've ever played - and certainly the greatest platformer. You feel there must have been a team of the 1000 most creative minds in Japan putting it together. You can't help but smile and shake your head in astonishment at all the quirks, ideas and design. Absolutely jaw-dropping stuff.

God, you could sell me snake oil. lol

Anyways, even the Mario games that are largely criticized like "Mario Sunshine" for the Gamecube platform was filled with really cool parts in it. It was like 50 games in one, and it was the perfect game to babysit my nephews with.

Nintendo tends to make things really quirky--nothing is boring or standard. It's always fun in very strange ways. lol

Damnit, I'm going to get me a Wii.

I wasn't that big a fan of Sunshine. I remember playing it in a pal's house with Luigi's Haunted Mansion and think they were both trying too hard to reinvent the formula. All the best bits of those two games are intentionally dropped into Galaxy 2, as if to say - we know those games were a bit shit, but the ideas were good - see? And anyway, Luigi's obviously a Jew.
