What is the best part of your day?

Ohhhhh my 2 favorite times of the day are

Tucking the kids in at night. I lay with each one for about 10 minutes and that 1 on 1 time with each of them is when we have our most meaningful conversations. I just love hearing wat is on their little minds and having little chats with them rite before they fall asleep.

My other favorite is waking up (during the week) and knowing the kids won't be up for another hour or hour n a half n that I have that time all to myself. No txts or phonecalls. Nuthin!

Usually on the wkends the kids get up b4 me n thatis NOT a good way tostadt ur day. LOL

Lately, it's the evening. I usually eat and hang out with my family, then take a hot bath and go to bed, where I'll screw around online for a bit before going to sleep. That downtime is great.

When I first get home and I sit on this couch in the family room, (odd name for someone who lives alone! lol) and turn on the TV and just relax.

I'm on my feet most of the day, talking to SOMEone, surrounded by teenagers. Here, it's just me.... cloud9

Whenever I doody, then hop in the tub and take a hot shower. On a normal day, I'm clean! And that's the best feeling.

It's funny u say that cuz I think about this on the way to get the kids a lot. I'm gonna sound like an awful mother but I HATE that part of my day. I can't wait to see them but I just HATE the production of the pickup. I seriously dread it every day

There is no drama when I pick him up. Just always get a "mama!" and a run to me and huge hug. It's awesome.

Nice thread.

I'd have to say weekend mornings are a big fave. Slowly waking up, making the yummiest tea and just generally taking my time to enter the day. Putting on music, staring out my window at the world as the sun comes fully into the day. cloud9

Weekday evenings I enjoy getting home from work - having my kitties greet me, changing out of my work clothes into my home clothes and deciding what lovely thing I'm gonna make for dinner. Cooking is totally my new way to unwind and I enjoy yummy food so much. I don't go all out every night, of course, and I always stay on the healthy side. But making myself the perfect dinner more often than not is SO totally good for my soul.

Yup!! Cooking is very theraputic! I always bake when I have a lot on my mind or need to unwind. It always puts me in an awesome mood!
