hairdressers of the org, how do....

I determine my face shape. I'm kinda lost. I want a new haircut, something that doesn"t need mainteance, My hair is ringletty curly, and now a brown with blond bits, it is all growing out though, natual hair is black, and brown skin, brown eyes, I'd love to change color as well id like a choc brow but hairdresers have said no, it wouldn" suit me. here r pics.

pic of me last january

photo shoot 2 yrs ago i think

thanks Orgers

Oval/round...
IMO always keep the hair long/longer in the front to slim the face

How short would you want to go?

If you know a kick ass stylist, they can design a perfect cut to frame your face in your natural curly texture.

Curly hair is a bitch because it does its own thing, I recommend going with your natural wave pattern and having a stylist cut you a unique look that you can do easily. Like a shake and go kinda thing. smile

You may love the ease of it. nod

Whatever you do, don´t dye your hair blond or red.Black looks better. Maybe more curls?

No, I meant your hair's natural texture without any straightening. I thought you mentioned before that you had curly hair.

If you cut your hair (any length) you have to consider maintenance. If you want a sleek look that's straight you should really think about relaxing the curl so that you don't walk around with frizz on an unforgiving shorter hair cut, esp. bangs.

If your hair is naturally straight or have a loose wave pattern then you can really run the gamut on all kinds of cuts. biggrin

Exactly! Curly hair and bangs do NOT mix. Unless you get a relaxer.... then say good-bye to fullness and hello to roller sets.

nod

A relaxer is a chemical straightener.... its for ALL curly hair. Its used to straighten the hair. You will have to roller set the hair after and only wash the hair no more than twice a week. Relaxers really rob the hair of protein.

Some do them only once or twice a year if they have a natural loose curl.

No one should ever straighten their own hair at home (chemically).. if you are good with flat irons then go for it. biggrin
I don't recommend cutting a style that's uber high maintenance, you'll hate it.
Remember that if you tend to frizz into a fro then cut a style that will work with that.

right yea no i wouldn't do that, but i mean if i go to get my hair striagtened do i need to buy a relaxer?

yea i'm not a high maintenance or even medium lol matience chick, im soooo low on the maintenance level lol, i like 2 spend 10 mns max on my hair. except for trips to the salon.

yes, straight and yes with the bangs (actually) just below the eyebrow and cut at an angle, longer on one side, then you can play with the style. like if you decide to go out and want a more evening type of look.
