how did you find out? Daywalker was originally from Cleveland, and he and my cousin were best pals -- like brothers -- for several years back in the day. He and I were good friends as well. We lost touch with him about 15 years ago until just this past Summer, when I decided to hunt him down in cyberspace. (I had no idea that since 2002 he'd also been right here on the org!) I reconnected the two of them, and about 3 weeks ago he confided in my cousin that he had end-stage prostate cancer.  My cousin informed me when he died.
A warning to the men out there: Daywalker had NO idea about the cancer. He was the picture of health, a martial arts instructor, only 37 years old!  He thought he'd pulled a groin muscle at the gym one day, and when he went in to have it checked out, he was diagnosed and recommended to undergo emergency surgery. But it was much too late. This was only a couple months ago... and now he's gone.
