What I was doing was visualizing bubbles rising to the surface of a lake, and each bubble had the name of a thought or concept that came to me. The idea is to just let all your thoughts and feelings rise to the surface and then break and dissipate, with no attachment to them. On this particular day (this is so embarrassing), bubbles kept coming up that said "jerseykrs" - just his Orgname; I didn't even know his real name!  I thought it was really weird and I was a bit unsettled, but in keeping with the point of the meditation I just let it go and continued, even though it just kept coming up.  I haven't thought about that in a long time! | |
