I think there's a bit of that, but really I think I might just be lazy too.

lol

lol

I finished one room!!! It's been what....four days?

Do I get some sort of trophy.

What's even worse is sometimes my idea of "cleaning" a room is to buy things I think will improve it....like today on the way home I bought one of those hanging shelf thingos to put in my wardrobe for my T-shirts.

They already had a perfectly good drawer.....

but now you have a perfectly good drawer for something else?

There is a book out by an author who's last name, I think, is Levine. He is a specialist in Special Ed people and his book is called the myth of Laziness.

This is another absolute truth that I may have mentioned before.

If it weren't for my problem of house keeping I would not be into Prince now.

Almost exactly a year ago I desperately needed to clean my Whole house. I went to Target. There I found THE BEST OF PRINCE CD on sale for 9.98 and I thought ' this is good housekeeping music".

Next I said to myself " I wonder what he's been up to lately?" I checked out where his CD's were, there was one copy of Planet Earth and I bought it.

Now just look at me today!!!! I spend too much time on the damn org to clean my house!

It's only me in a small apartment. I clean the kitchen every other day.

As for the other rooms; I'll deep-clean the bedroom one Saturday; then the living room and hall the next Saturday; on the third week I'll deep-clean the bathroom.

I just repeat the cycle over and over.

I vacuum rugs, mop and wipe whenever necessary.

Daily- kitchen, taking out garbage, laundry, floors (sweeping), bathroom, bedrooms. Everything else, like dusting, cleaning the fish tank, watering plants, vacuming, & mopping gets done on a need to do basis. 1 maybe 2x's a week.

Now organizing clothing, shredding mail, toys etc. gets done once a week.

I steam all my clothing, less fussing than ironing. Pressing and curling my hair is done twice a week as well. (that is a chore!)

I clean daily (kitchen, laundry, bedroom, clothing) and do heavy housework twice weekly. I vaccuum first, because it throws more dust around. As for dusting, use a damp cloth or products like Mr.Sheen because the dampness collects all dust from furniture without spreading it around.
