This is from wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt...
* Stage 1 Body temperature drops by 1-2 °C (1.8-3.6 °F) below normal temperature (down to 35-37 °C or 95-98.6 °F). Mild to strong shivering occurs. The victim is unable to perform complex tasks with the hands; the hands become numb. Blood vessels in the outer extremities constrict, lessening heat loss to the outside air. Breathing becomes quick and shallow. Goose bumps form, raising body hair on end in an attempt to create an insulating layer of air around the body (which is of limited use in humans due to lack of sufficient hair, but useful in other species). Victim may feel sick to their stomach, and very tired. Often, a person will experience a warm sensation, as if they have recovered, but they are in fact heading into Stage 2. Another test to see if the person is entering stage 2 is if they are unable to touch their thumb with their little finger; this is the first stage of muscles not working. They might start to have trouble seeing. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

That body temperature seems a little low. You could just have a circulation issue, but I would take your temperature over several days, even if you feel better later. The normal body temperature is 98.6 degrees, but if you're slightly off by a couple tenths of a degree, then I wouldn't worry. But if your body temperature is consistently in the 96 or 97 degree range, then you should see a doctor and have your thyroid checked, because that may be a sign that you have hypothryoidism. Other signs of that are overly dry skin on some parts of the body and a tendency for your extremities (hands, feet) to get cold very quickly when you're walking barefoot.

Are you a woman? Temperature can drop at certain times of the month - before ovulation or right before your period. It's totally normal. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
