The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle Has anyone watched this???
Synopsis: This British satire skewers mindless media culture as it follows the brazen schemes of Vivienne Vyle (Jennifer Saunders), a daytime talk show host who never met a guest she wouldn't exploit to further her own career. As Vivienne watches her shamelessly sensationalistic show climb up the ratings, she must contend with her gay but devoted husband (Conleth Hill) and her heartless producer (Miranda Richardson) who's even more calculating than she is. If you're only used to Jen Saunders from AbFab, just be patient and sit tight through the first episode (it picks up on the second). This show is a whole different format. Not quite as over the top as Ab Fab and no laugh track, but brilliant (and brilliantly acted) nonetheless. PS. Christopher Ryan (ex-hubby Marshall on AbFab) plays her tranny publicist! I highly recommend it!

Where? When? This might help me get over the end of The Karen Walker Show. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

You will find it delicious. Remember, Episode 1 might seem semi-slowish, but hang in there. We weren't laughing out loud till the second and then we watched the whole series in one sitting.

Excellent! After I watch, we can drive people crazy quoting it. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Might have to get it again. I do remember: Fuck off...no. (during a public appearance in a store when a woman(fan) asks her to hold her baby for a pic)
