Dan ~ This Is So Darn Cute ~ Raw Food Video

It is a video of Jonsi and Alex from Sigur Ros making a raw food recipie. It is adorable. They have a cookbook online at www.jonsiandalex.com and a little cookbook you can download. I suppose cookbook isn't the right term for raw foods right? Anyway ~ it made me think of you. Enjoy.

By year's end I'm hoping I'll be back on a 90% raw lifestyle. The economy slapped me in the face this year, and I've had to improvise lol

It can be very rewarding. hug

i was being all vegan like a month ago! but i got real sick(stupid me stop taking my vitamins), plus i'm taking these meds as well too. my mom got all mad..so once and i while i am force to eat fish. but as soon as i am well i'm gonna back to veggie. Long story short it had to do with the fact that my immune was real low becuase of my lack of protein and i had like a bad skin infection.and the constant colds!...which was really my fault cause i stop eatings like beans, tofu, etc. i was only eating like leafy veggies and light veggies and lots of sweets.

i feel horrible that i am forced to eat fish. but its for my health..but i do feel like a hypocrite thought.

I didn't do it cold turkey. I would go vegan on Sundays. Then on weekends. Then 3 days a week
Before long I preferred to be vegan and just went full time except may twice a week or so.

I stopped while on vacation last June. I was going to go back to it, but got caught up in a few things and really regret that now. Raw veganism was liberating. The ability to walk down grocery store isles and realize that once you leave the produce section, you've just left the 'food' section is liberating. lol

It is for you! If you click on the recipie tab it will take you to their little book with some beautiful recipies. There is a video and they make a nut pate'. They have this exchange about parsley that just is adorable. It is very rustic and pure (the video) just like I imagine the eating raw would be. I'm thinking I will try this a day a week. I'm vegetarian now but eat a lot of terrible junk. You have put beautiful recipies on here and it has been a great motivation when I see them.

ohhhhh!
I'm so dense ! lol hug

http://jonsiandalex.com/m...ecipebook/ <--- the recipe book does look fancy nod

I've tried a variation of the macadamia mash and the tomato sauce--all delicious.
People always think that eating vegan or raw vegan is dififcult because of lack of choices. But what makes a dish great isn't as much the ingrediant as how you prepare them---I mean nobody eats chicken wings raw...you have to prepare them. lol

Great site! cute.
