This went from being unable to believe how judgmental someone could be to shitting on her for how she looks differing from her internet persona. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

You don't think it's a bit "out there" to consider someone you haven't met or even seen a picture of your "boyfriend"? Edit for: I just re-read your post and realized by shitting you're referring to the posts about appearances. My bad. Yes I am literate. [Edited 7/21/09 8:48am]

Hmm, I see both points on this thread. What it comes down to is how her friend meant this and the attitude in which it was said. If she said something like "I hope it ain't no black guy", then yeah, I'd been offended and asked, "what the hell you mean by that and why you say it like that for"? Yes everybody has preferences, but it seems like in this case, she was doing damage control by saying the other things right after her "i just hope he's white" revelation. She's saying stuff like "oh girl you know I done dated outside my race before", but if she didn't mean it in a harmful way and only in a preferential way, then why was their a need for the backup statements??? It makes you wonder.
Oh and please note: Just because a person dates outside their race doesn't mean that the person isn't racist. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

My concern isn't that she "hoped" he was white so much as to why she would call him her boyfriend and has not yet seen him...heard of a camera? I ask you this Chili...what difference does it make to you as to whom she prefers to date? Maybe I am missing something here... I kind of new this would be people's reaction. She did also say that she dosent really want to date him if he wasnt. I've got to say I was initally shocked because I really didnt expect that to come out of her mouth. Im a pretty easygoing person but that really did make me . I guess u had to be there to hear her tone of voice as well as for the camera...I know She must be crazy (but I already knew that ) PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

She says that she prefers to date white men and somehow this makes her a terrible person? I really don't see anything wrong with what she said. That's because "I hope he/she is white" usually means "I hope he/she is NOT black...I could never date a black person, are you kidding?" lol ...it rarely has anything to do with physical preferences, like saying "I hope she's got long hair" or "I hope he has blue eyes". And to be honest, if it were my friend and they said "I hope he has blue eyes" I'd find that pretty damn shallow as well...if you're getting to know someone well enough to develop intense enough feelings to consider them your "boyfriend", their eye color should not be high on the list of things to hope for.

Im not shitting on Leesa for her looks, all I am saying is that he has not even seen her yet, nor she him. The fact is she is not drop dead gorgeous, but she may be to him who knows. The whole thing is she has taken the secondlife site to be as real life. A few of us have tried to talk to her about it but she wont listen, just says "but it can be real life" [Edited 7/21/09 15:16pm] PRINCE IS WATCHING U " When an Artist Creates, whatever they create belongs to society"

Well, I don't see it that way. It's hard to chalk up skin color as being in the same category as eye color or hair color...as just another physical preference. In my opinion, anyway. There's way too much connected with skin color. And her friend saying "It's just the English in me" kinda hints that her reasoning for hoping he was white wasn't just "preference" (even if she didn't mean to). Can you imagine someone in the U.S. saying "I just hope he's white" and then saying the reason she thinks that is because "It's just the southerner in me"? lol...

Anyway the week MJ died I ran into her in the shopping mall and she was telling me out her "online" boyfriend Anyway as she is telling me about this guy and says she hasnt seen him yet, the next words out of her mouth were " I just hope he's White" WTF????? U should have seen my face and I demanded to know what the Hell difference that made So she says " Oh I dont mean anything bad, Its just the English In me" wtf??? I proceeded to get even more annoyed as I was saying that my Great Grandmother was English and I sure as Hell would NEVER think like that!!! Then she tried to backtrack with "Oh Chilli u know I've dated men of all kinds" Since when because come to think of it Ive never seen it " I just prefer white men" All I could say was " Leesa I can't have this conversation with u anymore. I have to go." It was that or smack her upside the head. As I walked off I couldn't help wondering what the Hell she thinks of me and her friend Shamita. I havent had any contact with her since, I dont think I will ever look at her the same again Have u guys ever had someone u thought u knew say or do something that made u Yes, I have, in fact. A cousin of mine, who I used to be realllll close to, and considered to be the sister that I never had, talked about me several times behind my back to my other siblings. What made it worse was that the first time it happened, and I confronted her, she told me, "I'll always be honest with you", then proceeded to backstab me AGAIN several years later. She also said some things to me that were very hurtful, and needless to say, I no longer view her in the same way that I used to. Luckily, she lives in another state, so I don't really see her all that much (which is okay by me). She has ruined the great relationship that we had, and quite frankly, I no longer trust her. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

if white was her preference, then she probably should have specified that in her online ad. With her saying: I just hope he is black, to me says she might diss the guy if he were not her choice of color.
