I'm thinking of picking one up tonight. I've been reading about how it is Linux based which is cool cause I can hack it to do many of the things my Instinct does.

My main holdup is that it cannot run data and voice at the same time. For example you cannot browse the web and make a call at the same time. Technically no device is supposed to, you have to hack them. I wanna know if the Pre has that hack available yet.

Anyone know? Overall impressions of the phone?

Let me clarify: some devices can do voice and data at the same time, but Sprint seems to put software limitations in their handsets to limit that.

Well I heard that Apple just installed something of a sort to stop the pre from uploading itunes...I have no intentions of getting one as I'm now hooked on Blackberries but that little issue right there would deter me from purchasing one.
