to be serious, i don't cry. shrug

i can express sadness like a mofo, but the physcial act of crying is something that is rare to impossible with me.

my partner is probably more of a cryer than i am, though i don't think i've ever seen him cry, except maybe during a sad movie or something. he can express sadness like a mofo too.

so i dunno. that's how that works. lol

Being that you watch primarily Xanadu and other types of movies in that genre, isn't this kind of gay though?

again, this all depends on context. If the toast got burnt and you think his mother just died. there's issues. lol If his mother just died, then it's totally fine. Not fine that she's dead, fine that he's crying! lol

thing is, i don't know how to deal with any sort of crying. i just don't know how to go about calming someone down. except for maybe giving them food as that's what works for me? lol
[Edited 6/1/09 16:52pm]

see, I don't expect anyone to do anything about it. Even if they are deer in the headlighting on me, they just need to gape and let it get over wtih lol

I remember a couple of years ago, I flew to houston on business.
I ran into my old boss and asked how he was doing.
I expected a "I'm fine, and you?"
Instead, he told me about how his brother had committed suicide a month prior, and he got a low score on his job performance rating, and he needed to sell his brother's house, but it was tearing him apart. Then he broke down and cried before I had time to digest the fact that his answer wasn't "fine, how are you?"

It was....odd.

and that's where i just stare at you lol

I find this fascinating. Saturday I slept like crap and therefore was very tired when I set about my day and D'Angelo's "How Does it Feel" made me cry and I wasn't even feeling loving lol

when my significant other cries in front of me, i usually find it helpful to hold a mirror in front of him and yell "LOOK AT THE WHINEY BITCH!", which i know he always appreciates, because it gives him something to REALLY cry about. comfort

So if you argue with a sig other, do you then cry at that point?

I can't help but picture that scene in Purple Rain after Prince finds his mom all beaten up and he runs in the house, does a foot stomp, spin, and "Where are you! Answer motherfucker" routine... only followed by a full on 'no more wire hangers' moment.

It goes many rounds before I get to the point of crying during an argument but if I cry during a fight with my sig then that means blood is about to be shed lol

That's not gay, that's just bad manners.
Everyone knows that a run-in "how are you" is a meaningless polite gesture.
Was he brought up in a barn???
