This is one reason I am glad I'm gay because even though evillness thinks it's wrong for a man to cry it's ok for a gay man to cry. I know that people tend not to take a man seriously, straight or gay, if they cry but that is an issue they need to work out and I. don't. own. that. shit.

People think it's a weakness to cry, to me it's my strength.

I'm sorry, I just assume what you and johnart do to be way to gay to be mainstream, but I concede I could be wrong.

I guess I'll try it on my next job interview and see how that goes.

when my significant other cries in front of me, i usually find it helpful to hold a mirror in front of him and yell "LOOK AT THE WHINEY BITCH!", which i know he always appreciates, because it gives him something to REALLY cry about. comfort

I think I've seen every serious boyfriend I've had cry. And I appreciated what they were crying about, so it made sense.

i think i'm better off being the crier in the relationship given that i have no freaking clue what to do when someone starts crying.

i seem to either push them into a breakdown or have them turn against me. fuck that shit, let them handle me lol

again, this all depends on context. If the toast got burnt and you think his mother just died. there's issues. lol If his mother just died, then it's totally fine. Not fine that she's dead, fine that he's crying! lol

This should be it's own thread. I have absolutely no gaydar, and wish I did.
I mean, I'd say I'm 20% accurate and 20% isn't a really good gaydar. That's just
guess work.
I mean, I only know pricelessho, Supa, and Johnart are gay because they admitted to a history of impulsive crying and shit.

I'm sensing many of the men on this thread cried when the fashion houses said it was ok to mix patterns and fabrics a few years back.

Only guesswork of course, but I get that sense.

thing is, i don't know how to deal with any sort of crying. i just don't know how to go about calming someone down. except for maybe giving them food as that's what works for me? lol

to be serious, i don't cry. shrug

i can express sadness like a mofo, but the physcial act of crying is something that is rare to impossible with me.

my partner is probably more of a cryer than i am, though i don't think i've ever seen him cry, except maybe during a sad movie or something. he can express sadness like a mofo too.

so i dunno. that's how that works. lol

I remember a couple of years ago, I flew to houston on business.
I ran into my old boss and asked how he was doing.
I expected a "I'm fine, and you?"
Instead, he told me about how his brother had committed suicide a month prior, and he got a low score on his job performance rating, and he needed to sell his brother's house, but it was tearing him apart. Then he broke down and cried before I had time to digest the fact that his answer wasn't "fine, how are you?"

It was....odd.
