In my one time experience, it was a confluence of an innate attraction to the guy (and he to me), weird and trippy Halloween party, and just enough alcohol to spice things up, but not enough to completely be used as an excuse..neither of us was going through anything traumatic personally or romantically (I've heard that used by guys as an excuse)...for taht moment in time, it was just right...didn't all of sudden illuminate the closet...nor did it cause our friendship any hardship (no pun intended)...life continued and so it was...
