I have more tools than my sons and anyone else in my family! I have every kind of screw, nail, bolt, washer, etc. you can think of. I just put the grill and the computer desk together. I got my drill for Christmas...just what I wanted.  I have a glass cutter that I used to make shelves. I have a tool-box. Wood glue. Carpet tape. Butterfly toggle anchors. Carpet tacks I used on the stairs. L-wrenches.

Working on the grill had me pissed because the damn folks who made it in China did not put all the screws in the bag.  Thankfully I have every size screw you can imagine, but I hate to get in the 'zone' and have to get up and go dig out my screw bins.

I started accumulating tools about 10 years ago (thanks to my awesome father-in-law) and I can honestly say building shit is more fun than making music now. Sad but true. | |

When I moved into my first apartment, my dad put together a little tool caddy with a hammer, both kinds of screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, a wrench, a metal tape measure, and picture hangers.
I don't whether he expected me to use them...or if he just wanted to know there were basic tools onsite if he came to fix something. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

my mum gave me a comprehensive sewing box for my 30th. It comes in very handy whenever she comes over to mend our things  | |
