Looks like the Nuggets got this one; up by 14. We are going back to LA. We need more offense, Lakers!! Kobe, Gasol, Bynum are the only ones in double figures. Odom, Fish, Sasha, Ariza? Kobe can't do it all by himself. Denver have 6 players in double figures....6!!!

First rout of the conference finals.

Hey LA, how about rebounding a ball once in a while?

Denver beat us by 19, which is cool. The Zen master will have the troops ready for battle Wednesday. But on another note;I never like to criticize the refs, because they have a hard duty. But it is true, refs can influence a game with the quickness. Congrats to Denver, but we came to Denver and did what we had to do; and that was to win one game, which we did. Now, it is back to LA where we will win.

Yeah we got out rebounded 59/41, and that hurt greatly.

We got the Nuggets right where we want them.

I know it's easy in hindsight, but still. lol

How can you get a team right where you want them by losing every quarter and only falling further and further behind as the game goes by?

They can't let that continue if they're going to win this series. Denver shot horribly from the 3 point line until the 4th quarter too, but kept getting second shot opportunities. This is a proper series and really could go either way at this point. There's something lacking in this Laker team in the playoffs this year. Still too soft and still seeming to lack that extra bit of drive and commitment. It's weird. On the other hand, Denver really really wants this and it's there for all to see.

One more thing. Enough of the bloody technicals. And Bynum's straight-forward hard foul (a play on the ball) a flagrant? disbelief

We were only down 7 at the time and got within a few points after that. Also, you try to win certain moments of the game. If you are down by ten and you cut that lead to four by the end of quarter, hopefully you can feed off that run you made and carry that over into the next quarter. The lakers have done it before and I figured that we could do it again.

As a Lakers fan, we can't get out rebounded like that...ever, and I am sure that Phil Jackson will handle this before the next game.

I agree that, other than Kobe, we are playing waay to soft. Kobe and Gasol are the only two that are focused, the rest of the Lakers have to step up. I still say that my Lakers are way better than the Nuggets. But we are allowing the Nuggets to run us all over the court and we can't have that.

Good game to the Nuggets and their fans, but it is now a best of 3 series and I am still taking my Lakers...in 6 biggrin

lol Do you always predict the Lakers will win out the remainder of a series? It was Lakers in 5 over Houston, then in 6 when Houston leveled the series at 2-2.

It is cool because it gets us to focus better. Now for game 5, the Lakers will bring an intensity that we Laker fans are use to. We got this, bro biggrin

I'm not impressed with this year's Laker team. They take too many games off.

And Cleveland's having serious matchup problems with Orlando. Aside from Dwight, they have too many cats who can rain J's on your ass.

**disclaimer** I am, by no means, a Kobe Bryant fan or defender....but riddle me this, Batman...

...Kobe gets all but leg-whipped and no foul gets called (flagrant after the fact)...yet Lebroney gets bumped with mere ticks on the clock, trips over his own feet, and gets the call...hmmm

Seriously, is the fix in?

Kobe's not the NBA's golden boy(in large part due to the rape charges) - King James is. David "Spin-Doctor" Stern is all about marketing the league, and LeBron is the new face of the NBA, like punk-ass Jordan was, and like D-Wade was for a hot minute.

I hope it's Orlando and Denver in the finals just to piss Stern off. I hate that motherfucker.

I really miss American coverage of the NBA, because all I can watch here in Australia is the Western Conference Finals. sad However, it seems like the series are being called differently, from the looks of things.

Aussie land, sweet!!

Yeah both series are being called differently. Which is sad because it takes away from the game. And like Phil Jackson said, and he and the team got fined for saying this, there needs to be some kind of consistency with the calls. One half you are all physical, and no calls. The next half, you are getting called left and right for being too physical. And the whole flagrant foul thing needs to be revamped.
