Yep and the league ain't even tryin' to hide it. It's like 8 Kobe vs. LeBron commercials on the air, not to mention Dream Season 23 vs 24 on right now on ESPN.

biggrin Yeah that Clippers line almost got me. Anyway, the Lakers will get it together and win in 5 gamees.

No they won't. This will be a long series. Lakers are fortunate this series is tied at 1. If Denver didn't throw away Game 1, LA would be in serious trouble.

They are in serious trouble. Denver can beat the Lakers if the refs don't get involved in the outcome of the close games.

Denver has to do a better job of closing out these games so it doesn't get to that point.

I know Mutha doesn't want to hear it, but these Lakers have no killer instinct.

As for the other series, must-win for Cleveland tonight.

Naw, I've always said that about them. My hope was that they'd come up against a new jack team like the Cavs though. Because they'd have a better chance at beating them than they would a team like the Celts, so at least that's still in play. Soft teams never have killer instincts, it's one of the reasons that makes a team soft.

Kobe is zero for 2 in his last 2 finals appearances.

Aside from Kobe, Fish & Ariza, who are the gamers on this team? I like Pau, but he's almost as soft as Eddie Curry. And we're still waiting for Lamar Odom to 'put it all together'.

And with Fish and Trev, you're getting the mindset but not the consistent skillset to go along with it.
