We have the Rockets without Yao Ming, without T-Mac....and we can't put them away. We are making the Rockets look like a championship team, without any championship players, no disrespect to the Rockets team. But there aint no way that this series should be going to 7 games, but it is. We are the better team, gosh darnit!! Let's go, Lakers. Let's finish these guys off. The NBA is all about matchups, and the Lakers have always had problems with small, fast, penetrating PGs, and Brooks is that problem. Next round, C-Bill won't be that kind of a matchup problem for the Lakers. nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

So once we win on Sunday, and we win against the Nuggets..4-1, and if all goes well and we meet and beat the Cavs in the Finals, we have already lost? Well, just as long as we celebrate our 15 NBA title, I can deal with a "loss" like that. [Edited 5/16/09 17:26pm] “When I give food to the poor, they call me a saint. Playa, we ain't been past the 1st round since Hakeem, Clyde and Charles played for Houston. It's been so long that those cats are in the Hall of Fame now. I've had to sit through the Francis and Mobley years, which were exciting but not successful. Than whn McGrady came, I was like we got a chance, but they never got him and Yao help until last season. If Yao wouldn't have missed the playoffs last season, we get past the first round beating Utah. We got more help this season getting Artest and others, but Mac couldn't make in then Yao went down. I'll tell you this: the Lakers better jump out to a big lead from the get-go of they are toast. They've shown they can't come from behind against the Rockets, and ALL the pressure is on them.
Their lack of a bench is a glaring weakness. | |

Their lack of a bench is a glaring weakness. As George Lopez says "We got this!!!" Lakers are going to win by 10. Congrats to my HOUSTON ROCKETS for not only a great series, but a great season.
We were looking up in the off season after acquiring Ron Artest and Brent Barry among others. We kept it going after my boy McGrady went down, even making it past the first round and didn't quit when Yao (and Deke) went out. PRINCE: Always and Forever
