My brother and his wife are in the middle of a nasty divorce and his wife accused me of assault and both of us of kidnapping. We got a gun pulled on us and in handcuffs. Our kids saw it all.

And what was with the cops putting you in handcuffs for without at least getting your side of the story first? Did they charge you with anything or did they let you go afterward? She has been telling my brother that he can't see Justin. So the attorney said that Jason (my brother) has every right to see his son. So we went to their house and his wife and his son were there. She didn't want Jason to take him. He said he was going to but that he would bring him back tomorrow. The attorney we went to advised me to be with Jason at all times in case she claims assault. Well she pushed me and slammed the door in my face. I turned the door knob and leaned against the door to let myself in and she claimed I assaulted her.

God, I just wish the boys didn't have to witness it. Poor Justin was in the back seat shrieking "I don't want my daddy to go to jail."

Yes! Thank God the kids are all OK. That is the most important thing. That is what I was most worried about.

I have to admit I was scared as hell that I was going to be arrested and taken to jail. I've never been arrested. Actually, once the cops heard our side of the story they were really cool and told us she overreacted. They calmed down quickly when they realized we were cooperative.

Thanks guys. My number one concern was the kids. Especially my nephew. His mother is not thinking of his best interests. For Justin's sake I hope she comes to her senses soon.
