I was on that Prince 50th Birthday Party Boat. I wish I could've met her. She sounded like she was a great woman.

Jeffiner said: It saddens me to inform the org. that my friend Ruth, known on here as Paisley1710, passed away from liver failure on the 19th December, whilst in Lanzarote on holiday with her husband and daughter, she was 35.
Ruth was a lovely, bubbly, fun, caring, and generous girl, who always thought of others despite any problems of her own. I will really miss her. We all met up at Prince's 50th Birthday Boat Party in London, had a blast in Dublin and again at the Boat Party in November. She was bonkers about Prince, and loved Emancipation.... I'm sure you will all join me in sending condolences to her husband and lovely 13 year old daughter at this time... This is one of the last posts Ruth made on the org. before leaving for Lanzarote.. My daughter has since told me she hopes she wishes she grows up to be like me as I want for nothing. All material things, and I do tell my daughter that THINGS do not bring you happiness, are a bonus after working for them. The biggest prize of all is friends, family, health and being happy with what you have. http://prince.org/msg/100...sg_6159627 Rest in peace 'sweet cheeks'! Jeffiner, I am sorry that u lost such a good friend of yours. A friend like Ruth is a blessing of radiant positivity in a world so cold. My condolences and prayers for Ruth's husband and young daughter.

My condolences and prayers for Ruth's husband and young daughter. Thanks gyro, that is SO true, I just wish I could have known her longer, but sometimes people come in to your life and light it up, and although they leave too soon, that light still shines and fills your heart with hope. The last time I saw Ruth we were on opposite tube trains on London Underground, waving goodbye, giggling and blowing kisses, although we were both feeling pretty rough around the edges! lol.... Little did I know it would be the last time I would see her, I feel heartbroken for her lovely girl, who she thought the absolute world of, she was her pride and joy.

Holy cow Jenn, I just read it in PM&M and I wanted to send you and Heidi an orgnote about it but it is you who brought it to our attention. How did you find out? Haven't seen Heidi, she probably doesn't even know yet My deepest condolances to her family also. Heidi already told me she was such a sweet, crazy funny girl. And what a young age. It's only misery these days, people of young age dying An old friend of mine died two weeks ago, he was father for one day, 42 years. I just can't imagine that there's a god. A big hug for you my dear.

That's so sad to hear. I feel for her family. I was 13 when I lost a parent and this is something that helped me. I'm not sure who it's by but...;
