ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY - Bewitched

We all loved the show Bewitched growing up--I know I certainly did.

I felt sorry for one of the actors playing "Darin" though cause he ended up dying of poor health in a tiny home some place rural or some shit like that.

But anyways, Montgomery refused to twitch her nose for fans, and would shun anything to do with her role as Samantha the witch--she felt typcasted in the role and rightfully so.

However, she found time to be an outspoken activist for gay rights. She would often clash with own famous father in this regard--he was actually a politically conservative who served Dwight Eisenhower.

What old sitcom/TV Show stars left very strong impressions on you growing up?

Honestly, If she were still alive today, I'd love to see her on the view debating gay marriage with Elizabeth Hasselbach.

I remember telling my mother when I was little that I hoped George Burns lived to be 100 years old. She remembered it and when he finally passed she made sure to let me know he made it.

Say goodnight, Gracie.
