What will you do when gas prices go past $4?

I am definately going to buy a bike!
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Gas is at $4.30 for regular here. I can't really do much. I have to drive neutral I use my bike when I need to get somewhere that's close by though.

I am CONVINCED that gas will be $5 after summer.

When they go past?

They're past already, near me. I passed up going to an opera I really wanted to see, last month.

It's all about saving money and cutting back on entertainment.

how is the public transportation by you? it's pretty crappy here.

I would start to ride a bike around but I'm too scared to ride around cars. especially where I live right now because people would probably try to run me off the road for fun. confused

At the rate its going....it will be closer 2 $6.

Gas prices are definitely a Sign Of the times.

Its just going to teach us to be more conservative and to utilize public transportation when possible. In addition, I think you will start more people gardening for themselves as well as not having so much disposable income.

How have you guys changed your habits? I know for myself, I have started thinking if I need to purchase the latest cd or if it can be used for 2 gallons of gas.

Yeah, I just asked a coworker whom I've seen catching the bus. Takes about 40 minutes, she says. Might look into it. Far cheaper, even with the rising fares, than commuting by car.

We're basically there now. By and large I still drive most everywhere I go, but I have used our light rail trains on a few occasions recently. I'm trying to make myself use them more. In the hick town I'm from, public transportation is so stigmatized.

That boat passed two months ago, I'm paying up like everybody else. And it really is affecting me, I'll have to start working extra hours at work just to keep up.

It did long time ago. I barely fill up my tank, and when not going to work catch a ride with others when I can. But for the most part I still drive just not as much.
