Scooter sales are up now. They won't do me any good now though because I still have a distance to drive to and from work.....maybe when I move in a few months, I'll get a scooter for jetting around the city.

Here its been past $4 a gallon for regular grade since Memorial Day weekend.

$4 whole dollars! In the UK it's £5 a gallon - $10!!! and rising... it's all tax tax tax! And we HAVE to pay it. Or walk! And the rising cost of fuel means the cost of everything else goes up and up. The papers aren't reporting it here but we are in a HUGE recession... OK the £ is strong against the $ at the moment but against the Euro... the value of the £ has fallen by about 20% in the past 3 months against the Euro... And as always, the papers are saying the £ is stable and it's all to do with the housing market. BS!

keep on driving, but cut back on unnecessary trips...
try to combine more errands into one run....that sort
of thing.
