How we wish we meant that literally.

A few months after the great minds at the lad mag Maxim voted Sarah Jessica Parker the "unsexiest woman in the world" and called her a "Barbaro-faced broad," she spoke out about it to Grazia magazine.

"It's so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger," she says. "'Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men's magazine? Maybe not. Am I really the unsexiest women in the world? Wow! It's kind of shocking... It's condemnation, it's insane. What can I do? I guess you can't please all people."

(Neither can Amy Winehouse, Sandra Oh, Madonna and Britney Spears, who also made the list. Yet Avril Lavigne makes the cover of the March issue. There is no accounting for taste.)

How incredibly hurtful and mean-spirited this is. It's one thing to create meaningless 'most beautiful' lists but to deliberately target someone as being unsexy is just beyond tacky and tasteless. Is this really what makes for pop culture journalism nowadays?

They just shouldn't be allowed to do things like that list. Who does it benefit in the end? It's plain bitchiness and the worst thing is someone's getting paid to write it.

What an interesting game men play to make us think we're the top of the food chain. The sexiest , prettiest, blondest, women are also classified as the dumb bimbos--oversexed pin up dolls unworthy of our respect. But when a woman displays a certain amount of talent, uniqueness, and dare I say it, strength--then we dissect her looks down to the point that we can turn her into the same lump of flesh we always want on our plates.

They're not human beings anymore--they're just commodities. They're just bitches to be paraded around in 'best of show' for our entertainment. But isn't that all we ever wanted them to be?
When we're not busy objectifying them we veil them in Burkas and religious oppression to shut them up, heaven forbid they express any ideas that point out just how shallow and ungodly our own are.

Sarah J Parker isn't the ugly one in any of this. But she also isn't uniquely being singled out--the collective of men in all societies have always done this to women--and most of us wouldn't even get a second glance from her!

Mmmkay, so I remember her pre-SATC(I hate that show)and post-Square Pegs, that was her show right? Anyway, I don't agree with Maxim.

She aight.

The fact is, her lame ass show only existed and her career is only alive because not only are there plenty of greasy industry men that think she's sexy(and who she's banged)but plenty of viewers find her attractive and like watching some random dude, woman, or elf slam her ass.

They need to put Angelina's crackish ass on that list.
