Women, how would you change the world if you were in charge of everything? .
Would you introduce this? or this? or this? or this? or maybe this? Or do you have other suggestions?

And then what? Is there really anything else to do after that?

Are there really no other things you ladies would like to improve and make more female-friendly? It's okay to be serious too you know.

If I get serious it turns into a P&R thread, though. |

If I get serious it turns into a P&R thread, though. Well it would suck if a moderator like you posted a serious comment and then immediately sent the thread off to P&R because of it, lol. I think GD is entitled to be serious too. It's a state of mind, not a political attitude.

i'd make it so that no one who was intellectually, emotionally, psychologically messed up or immature could possibly conceive or contribute to the conception of a human child.

It's a state of mind, not a political attitude. I agree. But the things I can think of on this particular subject are basically political. What I see as women's issues are what I see as the major problems of the world. And a LOT of it stems from religious persecution as well. |

OMG.
Men would have to give birth and take the birth control pill. There would be one universal remote for everything. You'd never have to buy another one and it would be simple to use. ESPN would only come on the cable for 30 minutes a day. More family friendly work environments. Child care on site would be the norm, not the exception. Guaranteed paid maternity leave and some paternity leave as well. Men would not be allowed to fart in the house. I'm sure I'll think of more. Peter those you put up were great too.

Thanks Jill, these were exactly the kinds of things I was interested in hearing about. So your husband is an ESPN addict and remote control juggler eh?

But even so, it's such a powerful thing, I think it defines us as women, whether we choose to carry one or not. Besides, men would never be able to take the pain. They'd whine and moan for years after. |

Especially condescending ones! Oh, since I'm really a chick who cannot help that God forced her to wear a boysuit, do I get a pass? [Edited 10/10/07 14:18pm] 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I would like to give this egg vs. sperm-feeling through to men. What do I mean by that? I absolutely love to dance, but I hate it when twenty men are circling around me and my girlfriends, not dancing theirselves but only watching our asses and smoking cigarettes, pondering on which stupid comment they should make next. 'I think you're very beautiful, do you have a boyfriend?' And when you say 'yes', they answer 'Well, can't you just cheat on him?'
So I'd put 2 handsome guys in the middle, and put twenty women around them. Unashamed staring at their crotches and making stupid comments ('Wow, does the way you walk tells me something about the size of your balls') would be completely allowed...

I see what you're saying but unfortunately I don't think your experiment would have the desired effect. The guys would LOVE to have twenty women giving them attention. .
