Arizona at Baltimore (Not all 1-1 teams are the same)
Buffalo at New England (Buffalo needs serious help on O) Detroit at Philadelphia (I'm sure a lot of people had these teams 2-0 and 0-2 after 2 weeks, but with the records switched!) Indianapolis at Houston (Not yet, Houston...) Miami at N.Y. Jets (Both teams badly need it) Minnesota at Kansas City (Can I pick the BYE instead?) San Diego at Green Bay (San Diego angrily fights back) San Francisco at Pittsburgh (Not all 2-0 teams are the same) St. Louis at Tampa Bay (What has happened to St. Louis?) Cincinnati at Seattle (Both teams have playoff potential) Cleveland at Oakland (The Raiders finally win one) Jacksonville at Denver (Denver has gotten lucky twice in a row) Carolina at Atlanta (Poor Falcon fans...) N.Y. Giants at Washington (Giants are already out of the division race) Dallas at Chicago (Marquee matchup of the week) Tennessee at New Orleans (They have to pick it up sometime, right? Right?!) This week’s game versus the Bengals will mark the 17th time the twoclubs have squared off in the regular season with each team splitting the previous 16 games. The Seahawks have won six of the last nine dating back to 1989. Seattle lost their only postseason meeting against the Bengals, 21-13, in the 1988 AFC Divisional Playoff Game played at Cincinnati. Aside from all four AFC West teams, Seattle has matched up against the Bengals more than any other AFC team. At Cincinnati, Seattle has posted a 5-5 record. The first six games in the series were played at Cincinnati and Seattle was 2-4, but since 1989, Seattle has won three of the four games played on the road. The last time the Seahawks played the Bengals was October 26, 2003. Seattle was off to their best start in franchise history with a 5-1 record heading in to Paul Brown Stadium. Former Seahawks quarterback Jon Kitna led the Bengals to a 27-24 upset with help from backup running back Rudi Johnson, who had 27 carries for 101 yards and a score. Head Coach Mike Holmgren is 1-1 vs. Cincinnati while with Seattle. The Seahawks defeated the Bengals, 37-20, in his inaugural year as head coach on November 7, 1999 in the Kingdome. | |
