Thanks, he really is. smile

He's the first little dog I've ever had. All my other dogs were big breeds. He's very quiet and friendly and incredibly patient. A perfect match for my son. I'm so glad I decided to go with a rescue this time.

I love these dogs. I think we're getting our boys one this year. They've been begging for a dog and I like the idea of them growing up with a dog.

Moni is that top dog a Westhighland White Terrier? When I used to live in California our neighbors had one named Bobo and it was the cutest damn dog ever.

OMG..that looked like my Willie when he was a pup but the breeder had already given him a Schnauzer cut before my mom got him so I never saw him all fluffy.

Willie has never liked kids confused

A guy my husband worked with had to go out of town for 2 weeks and asked us to dog sit for him. I thought it would be a great way to kind of "test" out having a dog in the house and to see how the kids reacted. The dog was a mini and she was the sweetest, most lovable dog. I fell in love with that dog and would have kept her if I could've. All the minis I've ever encountered have been sweet to my kids. I'm sure there are always exceptions to the rule.

Has your dog ever been around kids? Do you think that if a dog is raised with kids then it's more likely that they'll do OK?

Absolutely. As long as you teach your kids to respect the dog and the dog is familiar and comfortable with being handled everything will be fine.

My most favorite dog as a child was mixed breed. That was the best dog ever. Does your little guy just love him? Take some cutie pics of him with the dog and share with me. biggrin
