Songs that bring back memories (not Prince). I just re-discovered "Clouds Across The Moon" by Rah Band.
http://www.youtube.com/wa...4R97AeM6IE It's been a long time since I've heard it, but playing this song brings back so many memories. I was about 12 at the time I played it on my casette player. It wasn't even a big hit, but for me it is an all time favorite, I've played it over and over. Listening to that song I can just remember the way I felt back then. It was an emotional period in my life where a lot of changes were going on. This song was a comfort. Twenty years later, I can safely say that everything I was affraid of going through worked out fine eventually. It has made me stronger. Do you have a song that brings back memories like an emotional roller coaster? [Edited 9/9/07 6:16am]

'Afternoon Delight' by The Starland Vocal Band reminds me of growing-up in the seventies. The fog of Lemon Pledge whilst my mum dusted around; Hazy autumnal sunshine filtering through the blinds; The smell of the huge Grundig portable radio on top of my mother's teak-veneered sideboard - it smelled of electricity.
I know it's a song about midday shagging, but it reminds me of my mother. I heard it on the radio yesterday and it took me straight, back nearly 30 years ago.

And just once in a while you get struck by them on the radio when you least expect it. Music is great isn't it?
