Indeed. The atmosphere can be extremely intimidating. Why, I recall the reaction I received, when I posted an image of my stocking feet. An orger remarked about my hairy leg. Another accused me of having "cankles."

Fortunately, I'm quite comfortable with my legs, but the experience gave me pause.

It's not easy being green.

I like the picture threads. More so when people post new pictures of themselves. Really though, the same pictures are posted over and over again on different threads and I do this too. So what really is the point? I already know which people will reply to one of my pictures because it will be the same people who replied the other times I posted it!

So it's a request for a quick fix of self-esteem bolstering from people from experience you know to be your 'ally', who you know will deliver the desired response.

I have nominate you so many times for these types of competitions that I get pissed when you're passed over for roodboi, fauxie, stax or some other less fashionable straight person--and it's because I've somehow bought off on the whole beauty-completion and my own opinion matters more than you people type of thing.
