Mall kiosks I went to the mall with my Mother today and we got into it because I didn't stop and politely entertain every annoying person who works at a mall kiosk when he or she said, "Excuse me, Ma'am".
I find it extremely annoying to constantly be stopped by these people in the mall. My feeling is that if I want to know what they're selling, I'll wander over and inquire. I hate when they step in front of me, or interrupt my conversation to show me something I don't care about. I know they have jobs to do, but some don't give up at "No, thank you." One guy grabbed my hand and attempted to apply some kind of moisturizer! I have allergies! My mother said my aloofness is rude. I say, LEAVE ME ALONE! Thoughts? "Love Hurts. Your lies, they cut me. Now your words don't mean a thing. I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..." -Cher, "Woman's World"

I just say 'no thank you' and keep walking.

depends on my mood...sometimes I'm polite and say no thank you, sometimes I just keep walking...
sometimes if its a hot chick trying to sell me something I'll waste alot of her time listening to her sales pitch....

There is always someone trying to apply lotion on my hands too when I go to the mall but I always just say "no thank you" for whatever reason I can't just ignore them Rhythm floods my heart♥The melody it feeds my soul

Veronikka, you should work a mall kiosk... fine as you are, you could sell $20 shit sandwiches all day long...

ignore them completely as if you are deaf, or on some sort of other mission, and just keep walking
if they confront you, yell in their face how's that for rude?

If they stop you, frantically ask them if they have a drug store there in the mall, and say you need to buy a pack of Trojans IMMEDIATELY. Then inquire if the lotion they're selling can be used as lube.

The phone people are the worst and as soon as I even see them looking at me or taking a step towards me I sternly say "I'M NOT INTERESTED".

I kid you not, I once had a cell phone vendor see me talking on my cell and tell me to come over, cause he had a better phone to sell me. Sooooo, I did, and he takes one look at my phone and goes "oh, I'm sorry, I actually don't have one better than that...."

I understand it's living for those folks, but I find it intrusive to walk along and get approached for that stuff.
Luckily everyone thinks I'm too poor to own any of that stuff so I'm rarely approached.

My mom bought me a bonsai at a mall kiosk.
I thought it was the coolest thing, of course when she gave it to me. You're never prepared for when your parents get you a gift that indicates that they finally'get you'. But you could tell she was visibly upset. She seemed more upset that I really liked it (like you kind of feel sorry for someone you just duped, especially whent duping just isn't in your nature). "It's dead" ??? She explained that she bought it at a mall kiosk, and when she brought it home and told friends about it, they told her she should never trust those places. So she took it to a bonsai doctor, who told her it had been dead for quite awhile. What she did next made perfect sense: she bought some model paint from the hobby shop and painted each of those tiny little bonsai needles a deep evergreen. "Now that I know that, it does look a little bit like a fake bonsai" Mostly I felt bad for all the effort she went through. Really, it makes me want to break down. Believe it or not, the bonsai has not deteriorated...it looks just as dead/alive as the day I received it. My mom polished off the rest of the green paint re-painting the artsy/craftsy cow clock that I bought her for that same Christmas... "I got the devil in me, girl." - 'John the Baptist', Afghan Whigs

This gets on my nerves so much! If I'm interested in buying something, I will seek it out. To be interrupted as I'm talking to someone or even approached as I clearly am just trying to walk right by is just rude. I don't ever yell at the vendors, but I never stop to listen, out of principle. It's almost enough to make me not want to go to malls sometimes. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I do not go to the Mall often - I really dislike them and shopping
When I do go - I am pretty stern with those insistant ones I have said " How dare you touch me without asking my permission " and such statements seriously - DO NOT invade my personal space unless you were invited/welcomed or asked 1st fuckers
