I love having my hair down but mostly in the summer, I am nearly always tempted to tie it up, cos its cooler.

I prefer it down to being tied up, but I guess both looks good.. just seems like second nature to tie it up, and I gotta stop doing that.

so girls and boys, do you tend to tie your hair up more in the summer, or wear a hat, sweatband, hairband?

I like to have my hair down, but when it is 100 degrees outside and the sun is beating down on me, you better believe I am going to tie up my hair!

I mean some summers, I can spend alot of time on my hair getting it look real good, only to find 30 mins later in the heat, it gets scrunched up and put in a clip or hair band, then its wrecked..

Ugh...having long hair in the summer is awful.

I wear either 2 pigtails r a ponytail most of the summer.

I've almost decided 100% to cut off my hair next week cos I ALWAYS keep it in a ponytail regardless of what season it is, I don't know why I bother with the long hair. Short hair

I almost always have my hair up in the summer. If I'm going out at night or something I'll wear it down. My husband says he likes it up. My hair sucks right now. It was super long and then I cut it off in a moment of utter desperation and now I regret it. For me, short hair isn't really easier than long hair. The good old pony tail is my stand by. My hair is about shoulder length, but I just really want a super cool, sexy style.

my locs are now in the middle of my back...the front is a little shorter, just past my shoulders...but OMGOSH...
