ASK THAT NEW WAVE GUY ANYTHING! OK, so I'm gonna go out of my usual non-conforming way and fall in line with everyone here by starting up one of these "ask me" threads.
Go ahead, ask me anything.... NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

No I didn't actually. It was the Hip-Hop crowd that I was more concerned about. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

That's a tough one since there's too many to list. But I'll randomly just say "Make The Weather" by The Waitresses. Goldfrapp is aiiight, but a lot of their songs sound the same. They have that "boom-chicka-boom" kind of tempo. I do see the New Wave influence though. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

No because I'd like a deal that would offer me complete creative and musical control. I learned from my purple hero about that. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

And I didn't know Squeeze was teaming up with Crowded House this summer. Now that I've gotta see! 5) Too many to name: Love Will Tear Us Apart, New Toy, Just Got Lucky, Goody Two Shoes, Town Called Malice, Save It For Later, Rio, It's My Life, etc. 6) One of the icons of the New Wave era and certainly one of my all-time favorites. Please come back, Adam. [Edited 6/14/07 16:37pm] NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

like Green Day oh yeah, i forgot Art of Noise, ABC, the WonderStuff, and Bronski Beat I know. Even Melvin from Ready For The World tried that. It's silly, I know. Just be yourself, dammit! As for Madonna....well, she has been living in the UK for some time now. So "when in Rome...", as they say. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Yes, they're great too. Even the early Post-Punk stuff (which I had no idea they were apart of) was fascinating. But "Cupid & Psyche" was my joint though. I met Green last year at his concert too. Very nice guy. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

1) Even though you haven't found the true love, are you getting out there and meeting some nice gals?
2) Also, what would be your ideal lineup for a new wave revival concert? "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

Maybe The B-52's, Gang of Four, Pylon, and Tom Tom Club together at a festival. That would blow my mind. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
