ok there is something wrong when fire on the way home from the store becomes so commonplace that you aren't alarmed

hope there is rain in the night I feel for those in the line of fire. I just didnt think (and still dont) that any of the blazes would reach my location. Yes, living in the hills is always a risk for that reason. A risk I gladly take to escape the termoil of the city!  | |

That's hardcore my gosh! The fires in Victoria were pretty bad this summer too! So bad that the smoke permeated throughout the city past suburbia- wayyy past...when I left Australia, you could smell the smoke from the plane as it flew over it all  No hablo espanol,no!

and you know how far away Phillip Island was from any fires OMG. YES!! It was terrible the smoke in itself was quite sickening and made me get dizzy spells!! Those fires were just shocking!!  No hablo espanol,no!
