for the past month or two i've been feeling as if i'm living in some sorta box. i haven't seen/run into/hung out with/talked to anyone i know, haven't had any sorta plans to go and do anything and it's starting to drive me up the gotdamned wall. i just wanna drop everything and go somewhere and go visit somebody or go do something outta the norm...but at this point in time, i can't.

all of next week i'm gonna be taking a break from work because i need to--it's been a real long time since i've taken a break longer than a day or two. i'd go for longer, but i don't have any sorta plans in which i could take more time off. if i had the money i'd have my dad come up here to minneapolis for a day to visit me (yeah, i could always go home too but i don't want anything to do with the rest of my family--i only really get along with my dad).

there's a bunch of other stuff that's kinda bothering me too, but still...this rots.

seasonal affective disorder maybe? it gets me blue as blue can be this time of year. spring really is coming soon, hope you feel better dear

aww Dansa I understand what you are going through. I been going through something similar myself,, and I am just about ready to jump out the box very soon.. but somethings in life take us to this place whether we like it or not.. just remember its a temporary glitch and when you come out of it, makes you appreciate what you been missing so much more

I get that sometimes for long periods of time too... had it for most of last year.

You have to be proactive, try to get out there into the world, even if it seems impossible (ie meeting new people :shudder) and shake it up. Even little things, go the long way home from work or something, get lunch from somewhere else. Im not suggesting you are quite that into the same routine but it can't hurt.

Not sure what else to say, apart from I know how you feel

Find a volunteer organization that interests you, go to a part of your town you have never been to and explore, find a free concert somewhere, take a class at one of the community schools....

Friends can encourage you, but they cannot do it for you....
