i am not feeling sorry for you.

if only i'd taken pics this past weekend..... as you know blizzards have covered most of minnesota with thigh-high drifts. we've been literally snowed in for the past two weekends, snow too deep to drive in.

but this last weekend we had the first sunny, warm weather we've had in ages. there were people out, running around the lakes wearing summer shorts and tee shirts. sure, they had to dodge snowdrifts and jump over ice patches, but there they were. proud testimony to minnesota's delusional brave thinking

It's sunny here, which is lovely Until you go outside, then its cold





(its not sunny now of course, cause it's 9.30 pm!)
