I'm up to 38.

I really didn't think I talked to that many people in a day. This has been eye-opening.

I didn't speak to anyone for four weeks quite recently. I might have said thank you at the cash register at a grocery store though, but that's all.

But that counts! And this kind of thing counts! (Addressing another Orger directly).

I need to lay down some more rigid guidelines...

Wait, addressing orgers in a post counts? Orgnotes and emails?

I was only counting phone or in person.

And now I'm at 41. smile

Hmmm..maybe you're right. If you just send someone an email, for example, you don't know when or if they will get it. confused

Yeah, let's make it face to face I guess.

And should there have to be some kind of acknowledgment? Like if you talk to a group of people does it only count for anyone who talks back?

confused

But something like "thank you" to, say, a store clerk, definitely counts!

This isn;t about the substance of what you say, just how many people you interact with in a given day.

I'm at 46. And it I'll likely only add one or two more now, and that will be phone only.

Almost 50 people in a day.

That's a lot of people.

Did that include the bus driver? That question also goes out to justerin, retina and jerseykrs.

Sometimes I have a female bus driver. She is just as unfriendly as the male ones. Still, some are OK.

i live on campus, so i just walk everywhere. shrug

Ur lucky. Paying to get into college is not fun. Everyone i knew from the buses have moved on LOL. Iam too old to be in college talking to kids on buses.

Living on campus (which you can do at my college) would be good for my tardiness though. Iam always late for everything, all the time.

lol me too. i'm so used to being able to run to class five minutes before it starts that having to drive & bother with finding parking would suck.

Iam dreadful. My folder at where I work is full of what now be literally a dozen late slips. I get away with it most of the time. Its funny. I work in a superstore, and you have to go upstairs to put your bag and take ur coat off etc... Then, as its such a big place I work at, I have to stealthily walk back downstairs to my work isle without one of the many managers seeing me. Its kind of fun, if odd.

Oh, and if iam caught using the disabled lift one more time, its a verbal warning. Nobody has a sense of humour at work LOL.

I know, what's up with that? If they put their minds to it I'm sure they could find several other people they could talk to instead, but they can't be bothered. shrug
