Do any of you peeps want to live far far away? Like at least a half days drive from where you live now if not further? I'm just so tired of the scene. Love

Ex-Moderator | I've been contemplating trying to move to the UK.
It's just really difficult for me to get a work visa. I've looked into it a few times and need to do some more research. I may try for a student visa in another year or so, since I'm returning to university soon. |

Sometimes a very specific several thousand miles away, like right now, but other times I wouldn't want to move an inch from my bed.

I want to live in America and Italy...not forever, but for a while at least. I've never lived further than an hour from where I was born, I'm sick of this place

Yes... for a while.
I've lived in Wales all my life - not deliberately so - that's just the way it's happened. And I went to University here. But I'd love to live elsewhere for a while. Scotland, perhaps. Brighton, definitely. I'd love to live abroad. But I'm very lucky where I live, in many respects. The grass isn't always greener.

Thanks, hun. There's that and my friends. I'd hope I wouldn't have problems making friends elsewhere but - when I see how lonely some people can be - I have nothing to complain about. I sometimes wonder how different my life would be if I'd grown up elsewhere though. I would *never* move somewhere simply based on the gay scene but... y'know... the gay scene in Cardiff isn't exactly progressive. Not to my eyes. I don't live life wishing and hoping but you can't help wonder how different things might be elsewhere. Good job I don't mind being single.

I'm NOT just saying this - I think Scottish people are some of the most friendly, warm hearted, decent people I've ever met. And those are two fabulous cities. It was something I was thinking about a long time ago. YOU are very lucky to live in such a beautiful city.

I just turned down a job in the bleeding middle of nowhere. Beautiful place, but too far off from everyone I love.

Thankyou But after 22 years with very itchy feet it gets boring... we are friendly, in fact Im amazed how cold other cities are, wherever I go. Well you should seriously consider it - I know how you feel about your job, and you only live once! :hug
