Roger Clemens signing with the Astros Newsday is reporting that Roger Clemens is signing with the Astros, for $3.5 million/month.
Oh well... I never seriously thought he would come back to the Sox, but with Clement pitching for crap, and Wells going up and down like a yo-yo, it would have been nice...

Screw Clemens. He never gave back the Hummer the Yankees gave him when he "retired" and then signed with Houston.
And screw that hometown deal they give him, not even having to show up to the park on off days. If you're part of the team, you're part of the team. I don't care if you're Mike Maroth or Cy Young. And Houston ain't going to do shit, their chance faded when Beltran left and Bags carreer got cut short. Again, all it is about is money and comfort with Roger. And records. Selfish. Still never pitched well in a big game in his life. And before anyone says anything, I wasn't a big fan of him when he played for the Yankees either. Two Cy Youngs in Toronto and then the season's in Houston.....can't pitch in New York though, could he??
