So, some lady agrees to buy them for $50 and she arranges to come pick them up. Well, she calls me about 10 minutes ago and was like "So, we're still interested in buying your chair set but we're only willing to pay $35" in a super confident tone

I calmly told her "Well, I don't have to sell them so the price is still $50". She sounded surprised like she couldn't believe her lame bargaining skills failed her. Dumb lady. She then said "Well, if you change your mind, please give me a call" and I said "Have a nice night!".

The moral of the story: DOOK drives a hard bargain.

Damn. I spoke too soon. I sold my couch and my loveseat for a total of $80 after asking for $100. It had some scratch marks from my cat so they asked if I would take $20 and I folded. I'm such a weakling.



Look on the left side of the loveseat to see the kitty scratch marks.

I was watching this show, where two older british ladies went to this ladies house to clean. This one lady had maggots, ants and mold in her apartment. She hasn't cleaned in 8 years. Anyway, they did some test and found the germs from the toilet which had pee and poo stains traveled to the kitchen. there was some deadly bacteria. The woman who lives there sometimes prepares food and takes it to work for her co-workers. There was a high risk the germs got into her food. When one of the older woman told her she started giggling like it was funny. She opened a restaurant so I hope it's clean.
