story of a young girl, anna, who was conceived to keep her very ill older sister, Kate, alive through her genetically matched blood and bone marrow. the young girl then decides enough is enough and taskes her parents to court for the emancipation from her parents for the right of her own body.
so begins as a family issue, turns into a courtroom drama.

i finished reading this about 3am last night.
it was such a damn emotional rollercoaster.
fantastically written from the perspective of all the characters, big ending.
you feel so involved



i don't have kids and i know if you did you would really feel emotional all theway through this questioning what you would do.
i have a very ill niece who i thought of throughout this book.

i recommend it.

I've heard alot about this book, been afraid to read it because everyone says its so emotional
