How did you arrive in general discussion?

This is what brought me here, Cloudbuster drove. Zelaira was removed, because she kept sticking her head out to the window trying to catch raindrops with her tongue. Pej, jumped out of the emergency exit while we were on the freeway. Ardeo was on the same bus, but he was restrained for the whole trip. What time is recess?

As a person who deals with children with special needs on the daily basis I find this REALLY offensive. disbelief

It's real easy to pick on people weaker than yourself. But ask yourself if it was YOUR child who was born into a situation they couldn't control how would short bus jokes make you feel?

I hate when people make this kind of joke. If anyone was to start a thread, or even make a comment, picking on animals or a religious group or people of a certain race, this shit would not be tolerated.

Ok rant mode disengaged. Just had to put that out there.

Have a nice day biggrin

Actually, I have a brother who has special needs, so I do sympathize with people born in this situation. There has been far worse threads posted in GD, where noone showed up and had to put there feelings "out there". I was just making a lighthearted joke about GD and even made myself the victim of the joke.

I could've posted far worse images than the one in my original post. I'm sorry if you're offended by this thread and you are that upset, don't forget you are a moderator so why don't you moderate it?

I do know about your brother nod, and I realize it's ajoke. It just bugs me that people make a joke of these things. I didn't moderate it because I didn't wish to.

Anytime I see anyone make this sort of joke. I say what I feel about it.

That's all.

Whoops! boxed

Is this like an American thing with the yellow bus? Coz I didn't even realise a 'special needs' association! I just thought it was funny, harmless, regular kind of joke shrug

I was under the impresssion that most American kids go to school on that kind of yellow bus.

Apologies to anyone if (unintentional) offence was caused on my behalf too sad
