mid week reaffirmation I realize that, just because this morning I did not want to get out of my bed, Saturday seems light years away, and that today felt like 3 weeks in one, there is still so much beauty and joy in this world. Beauty and joy, I should not take for granted.
So I have composed a list of things that I noticed today that made me feel thankful it's Wednesday. Here it is: Green lights U2 and Sublime on the radio The little woman dressed in hot pink shoes, hot pink bell bottoms, hot pink top, and hot pink head dress, with skin the color of midnight who walked in front of my truck this afternoon. Free corn muffins Silly poems Getting to work on time Getting my work done quickly Pretty church steeples Kissmequick's thread for me Orgnotes The cop who saw me turn right on red when I wasn't supposed to, but who didn't bother to come after me. The smell of green apples Laughter Make your own list here  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
