Michael Ealy knows the meaning of hurry up and wait...tables, that is.
"After I got out of college, I rushed to New York to pursue acting and did what most successful actors have done--I waited tables for five years to make ends meet," Ealy says. "I went to class, I did off-Broadway theater, I was in a friends' 8mm movie...I didn't take any shortcuts. Those were some broke, long years."

But he never gave up.

"My acting coach told me to give [myself] seven years, because that's how long it took Shakespeare to be published," he continues. "I figured what is good for the most famous playwright of all time has to be good enough for me."

A few years and many tables later, the blue-eyed, baby-faced Ealy nabbed guest spots on TV's Law & Order and Soul Food and small roles in Kissing Jessica Stein and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

"You start booking jobs and your whole world changes," he says. "I was at a premiere, and I felt this big hand on my shoulder. I turned around and it was Magic Johnson telling me he enjoyed my work. I must have hugged him three times in five minutes, because I was so blown away that my childhood hero felt compelled to say hi to me."

Things are destined to get bigger and better, as Ealy is starring in three films in 2004: Never Die Alone, opposite DMX; November, with Courteney Cox; and the Barbershop sequel, in which he's reprising his role as Ricky.

"Barbershop was a totally different experience this time," he says. "Before, when I was walking around with Cedric or Cube, people just thought I was part of the entourage. [During the sequel shoot], people recognized me, wanted my autograph, would run by and bang on my trailer. Many shared how Ricky's redemption story helped them change their lives. That was the coolest."
Also cool? The paycheck that helped him purchase a washer and dryer for his grandma. "She'd never had one, and she always wanted one," he says. "I was used to being broke as a college student, a waiter and a theater actor, but the money sure is nice when you can use it to make someone else's world better."

Justice didnt hit her. The reason he cheated on her was intresting.He was playing for the Braves when they first met, married etc...Probably on the road five months out of eight.She wasnt willing to live in Atlanta with him after the fact because she said all the work is in Los Angeles.That dosent say a whole lot for her character or much else for that matter.I saw her interview with that Barbara Walters.She really seems like a selfish inconsiderate person.Alot like that other booty J.Lopez.

I did a report on Halle for my theater class
She has trust issues. Her first boyfriend beat her and as a result she is 90% deaf in one ear. Another boyfriend sued her when she became well known
David Justice cheated on her & so did Eric

She's also high maintenance,selfish and a lil controlling so being in a relationship with her is not always a walk in the park

She needs someone that is on her level and is willing to give

She was just a trophy in her 1st marriage and a provider in her 2nd

She's settled and aware of her success,now she's aware of what she wants in her lovelife
